Our Purses & Power Tools Bingo Night was an incredible success, bringing nearly 200 members of our community together for an evening of bingo, dinner, exciting prizes, raffles, and fun, all while supporting affordable housing in Baytown.
After the success of our first purse bingo fundraiser, we added power tools to the prize lineup this year to make the event more inclusive and connect it even more closely to Habitat’s mission.
“I think it really got the community excited to do something a little bit different,” said Executive Director Julianna Brandl. “Adding power tools relates back to Habitat and kind of ties it all together, so I think that was really meaningful.”
The event raised the funds needed to help build an upcoming Habitat home and ended with an extra special moment when the future homeowner’s youngest daughter won a new designer purse. It was the perfect ending to a night centered around community, hope, and a family’s journey toward a safe, affordable place to call home.
This event would not have been possible without our generous sponsors, donors, volunteers, and everyone who attended. Thank you for helping make the night such a meaningful success.
