Our vision: a world where

everyone has a decent place to live.

Meet Our New Habitat Family
Pictured here are Alma Martinez and three of her five sons. From the top left is Isaac, Mom Alma, bottom left, Andres and Angel. Missing are her two older sons Abraham and Guadalupe. This family has been working with BHFH for several months now earning their 500 sweat equity hours and are excited to begin their own home.

The board members and staff of BHFH would like to convey their condolences to the Donald R. Thompson family in the recent passing of Mr. Thompson. Donald and Martha Thompson became a Habitat family when their home was the fourth Habitat home built in Baytown in 1994. The Thompson's had fulfilled their financial obligation to BHFH and were an asset to our community.

It just makes us feel warm all over to have so many caring people working with BHFH.

If you were unable to attend our Home Dedication Ceremony for the Teniente Family this month below is a small peek of what you missed. The community really came out and showed their support to the family and BHFH. We want to thank everyone for helping make this important day even more special for this deserving family. Photos below left to right, Mike at Bee Hive Florist donated this beautiful spring arrangement , Baytown Junior Forum members with the Teniente Family, bottom left are Baytown Pilot Club Delores Ellis, Iliana Teniente, and Pilot Club President Carolyn Parrish, bottom right, Mike Wilson of Texas First Bank, Randal O'Brien, Superintendant GCCISD, and Janie Gray, Baytown Sun Publisher.
